I find it really suspicious that ISPs are keeping quiet on this. it's like they're waiting to see the success or failure of BT before they announce anything. Someone in the ISP market needs grow a backbone and take a firm stand. Its clear that this is wrong, stand up and say we are not going to do this madness. I'm not suspicious - everyone wants in. Even Zen talk about "no plan" rather than "NEVER". But at what stage did anyone ever envisage a carrier become a syphon or injector? It isn't designed into the web protocols so P.O.P. Might have to raise another query if I don't get anything in the next couple of days.

The fact Brett (head of customer services) hadn't heard of Phorm probably means these talks were top secret within the company. Probably part of a group wide discussion. http://parasitestxt.org/ (Personal opinion and statement in this forum post is my copyright and may not be used nor reproduced elsewhere without my permission. Looks like it will be Aquiss for me then. Not that I mind, they are a top notch company (been with them before), just a little on the pricey side for my current needs. Still, you get what you pay for and if that means paying a little bit more to go with a phorm-free clean ISP then so be it. Yeah, Ive read with interest what limited announcements Be have made on their members forum, and they use the language of an experienced politician. Im very cynical of their current stance, which is to use warm words which mean precisely nothing. I too believe they have been in discussion with Phorm, and have been taken aback by the hostility towards them on the members forum, hence silence. Ive made it clear, if BE sign up, Im off. Nice website, I will be spreading the word.

But in my view you are all worrying about nothing, there are no plans to use this nor are we planning to even discuss the points of this software. If it was ever to happen I will make sure that our member base is given 3 month notice period so members who wish to move can, but once again there are no plans for Be to use/join/trail/sign up/take part in Phorm. Or is it a rather flippant comment that suggests that the implementation of Phorm in general is 'nothing to worry about'. If its the latter i'd be a little concerned.
