I apprecate the fact that there may be people for whom the get-together and chat on nodpi is more important than actually fighting data abuse - those people just want the site re-opened - .......... I'm just curious to know ...... if anyone from nodpi has ever told anyone that they should wait, back down or even forget it just in case it spoils someone elses fun. ++++++++++++++ I have never had the slightest feeling that anyone on noDPI (or this site) is there for fun. Nobody goes there for camaraderie and a jolly old chat and get-together. It's deadly serious, and is characterised by impressive gravitas and dedication; I believe that has been its strength. I have used the PM facility very sparingly indeed, and only when something needed to be clarified or conveyed that was sensitive, and I get the feeling that others do the same. I am sure that all contributors would much rather be spending time with their families and running their professional lives and careers than posting and researching, and it is deeply impressive that pretty well all regular members care so much about the issues that they have made huge sacrifices to their personal and professional commitments. The only "fun" I recall is the reaction to Kent's "Privacy Pirates" PR disaster, when humorous posts and avatars were an effective weapon in the skirmish that sent that unseaworthy pedalo to the bottom. Similar commitment, motivation and dignity underpins BadPhorm. We must continue to respect those values on these forums.

While I appreciate that feelings are running pretty high on this topic I really don't want BadPhorm becoming a battleground for arguments over what people from NoDPI may or may not have done. Thanks, Jim. BadPhorm Admin
