On Panorama at 8:30 tonight...

Channel BBC ONE
Program Panorama
Program info You Can Run...: Simon Boazman investigates how much information is held on him, whether it's secure and whether he can reduce his data trail.
Schedule start 27.10.2008 20:30
Schedule end 27.10.2008 21:00

I bet Phorm isn't mentioned once - I'm prepared to stake another £5 to Bliss. Another £5 says they interview Simon Davis, but he doesn't mention Phorm.

A further £100 donation if Ian Livingston BT CEO is interviewed, and says the words Phorm or Webwise once.

Go on Ian, do it, you know you want to. It would be nice to promote a childrens charity, wouldn't it?

Bliss are doing quite well out of me so far.

As predicted BBC yet again makes not one mention of Phorm.

Interesting that Richard Thomas face pops up too, but he doesn't mention Phorm either.

No sign of Simon Davies.

I'll make a tenner donation to Bliss as a penance for being so damn cynical...

At least they warned us that they regard 12-year old children as being sufficiently privacy savvy that they can agree to having their data collated into a database.

How to explain to a child that just because the person who asks them about their data can be trusted with that data does not mean that the data will not be passed on to other people that they may not want to have access to that data.

When I think of all the 'confidential' options available to secondary school children with a 'problem'. The mind boggles.
