"So the deal between the BPI and six of our largest ISPs yesterday turned our comments section red hot with many of you (rightfully) frustrated, disappointed and just plain furious. This should put something of a smile back on your face... "

The larger ISPs signing up to the BPI inspired madness is mad in itself, why is music "fair" use more worrying than NEOGEO rom abuse?

It used to be that you could use your hotmail account at work and be worry free that there was no man in the middle to intercept.

These days, due to your email being sent as free as a post card, anyone can read it, local admin, ISP, Phorm, who ever has access to the network stream. It seems that ethics are out of the window, a new doctrin has emerged. "If I can see it I can sell it".

The next target is surely the post office."
