I encountered said chap this morning and asked him if he had a moment to discuss Phorm.
He happily talked for a few minutes and after explaining the basics of Phorm, he told me that he had not heard of Phorm, and it had not been mentioned at work by anyone. He did say that usually there would be a meeting about any new changes to the system, and there had not been up to now.
I pointed him to this site so he could enlighten himself more (he said he was also a viginmedia customer).

I had a recent chat with a caller from virgin a couple of months ago and they too had not heard of phorm.

Anyone else spoken to other virgin staff members who have/have not been aware of phorm?

Its hard to tell whether the ISPs, recognising how contentious this could be are telling staff to bluff ignorance... or whether they are genuinely completely unaware.
Does no harm to inphorm them.

BT/Virgin/TalkTalk customers - you don't need Webwise and Phorm, pure and simple.
Regulators will not protect you from Phorm. Find a Phorm Free ISP.

I suspect the ISPs what to keep their customers in the dark for as long as possible. If you use NebuAd in the states as an example, customers were intentionaly kept in the dark until recent reports started to circulate in the press.
