Naive (mainly - young inexperianced) people recklessly giving away personal information about themselves not realising they may regret this later when exploitative unscupulous manipulators use that information in ways that wasn't orginally intended. Remember Google's motto was "Don't Be Evil" then they went and bought Double-Click.
