I finally moved away from BT. Despite assurances that the Phorm system only affects home users and not business customers I just do not trust them any more so I had to move.

Really disappointed it had to happen like this as BT Business Broadband has been great over the years.

Since 2001 I was a very satisfied customer: satisfied with the service, the line speeds, the customer support and the whole professionalism of it all.

In total I paid BT £2732 but they are not going to get a penny more.

It is so easy to switch ISP - it is so damn easy. Get your MAC code, don't be swayed by the retention teams crocodile tears, register with your new ISP and within days you can have nothing to do with BT.

Who did I choose?

I choose Be.

I know they do not have 'Phorm Free' status but they have not yet ruled it in and I am taking a calculated risk that they never will. If they do - I will switch. It is so damn easy to switch.

If you haven't done so yourself - do it today.

All up and running. From requesting the MAC to being online with Be took just four working days.

I Now have faster download speed and 3x faster upload speed.
My data is not going anywhere near any phorm system.
My business is saving £91.50 a year!
