How can you detect all password-protected content anyway? Answer: whitelist of websites. How long would this list be? What happens if some websites introduce password protected content at a later date... I know Phorm will probably spin some smooth line about proprietary methods to detect and ignore protected websites. How will they do that? Some sites use HTTP authentication, that would be easy to spot, but many use session cookies. Sessions can stay open for Months! But whats the difference between a session cookie where a password's been entered and a normal session cookie used to track repeat visitors? There's only one way we can ensure this and any other ad system remains within the law - stop the equipment going in now! I know a week ago I said I would be happy if it was opt-in and my traffic bypassed Phorm completely, but this kind of bullying and pushing on with flawed arguments shows a lack of respect - would you trust people who show you no respect?

Some pretty big players in the security market have 'net nanny' style products on the market, all of which show that the only effective way to prevent access to sites containing 'sexual content' is to ONLY allow access to a few sites from a parental whitelist. Or do Phorm have a great big list of every pr0n site in the world ? If so is that why KE comes across as such a massive w***er ?

Also that all the quoted parts seem to be questions to Phorm, rather than endorsements of it. As y'all have said, if it was so glowing, we would have seen it by now, CDR would be pasting bits of it all over the web.
