According to an article on Telecom TV (http://web20.telecomtv.com/pages/?newsid=42710 - Google Cache link since the Telecom TV site disallows direct linking) Phorm's system is due to be switched on early in March :
The new system is to be introduced early in March and BT, Carphone Warehouse and Virgin Media say they will allow customers to opt out of it if they wish, but add that users shouldn't really exercise that option without giving it deep thought because the Open Internet Exchange will provide them with a "higher level of protection against Internet fraud"
That goes directly against claims made by Virgin Media representatives on their newsgroups that this project hasn't even started yet! I suppose we'll just have to wait and see who's right - at least we don't have long to wait!
