  Registered Member #1 Joined: Thu Feb 21 2008, 08:29PMPosts: 350 | THIS SITE WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FROM 00:01 ON NOVEMBER 1st Apologies for the short notice, but as some of you may have seen the server hosting BadPhorm has been showing it's age recently. It's reached a point where the only solution is to replace the entire box, a job which will take place this evening. At the same time I'll be changing the DNS server settings (one of which is currently on this machine) to hopefully resolve some of the DNS issues we've been seeing. As a result BadPhorm may go down until the new DNS settings have time to propagate fully - I'm hopefull it won't take long but it's outwith my control. I have no idea whether the current software will port sucessfully to the new system, I'm hopefull but I can't be sure as I've not had time to do any testing and the undelrlying versions of PHP & MySQL on the new machine are considerably different. I will post an update when the server move is complete and thank everyone for their patience. Jim. BadPhorm Admin | ||

There should be no more DNS problems although I'm sure the simultaineous upgrade to the site software will introduce some new & irritating bugs all of it's own.
