It's now the 6th December 2010 and the CPS October decision, that wasn't made in November and is now due 'in the middle of December' is nearly, almost, possibly, baring Acts of God and the CPS, upon us.

How will you celebrate National Whitewash Day ?

Is that why Stratis is back in the UK, because he knows the all clear has been sounded?

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has once again delayed plans to rule on whether or not to charge either Phorm and or BT over the broadband ISPs secret 2006/2007 trials of Phorm's technology, which tracked customers private website visits (not unlike Spyware) for use in targeted advertising campaigns; this was done without end-users consent.

"The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)"

Shouldn't that read "The Corporate Protection Service (CPS)" ?
The information I was given (by the usual "reliable source", of course) is that the Crown Prosecution Service actually ceased to exist some time ago, but in view of the current economic situation, as the initials are the same, the government decided to save money by allowing the newly formed Corporate Protection Service to use the same website, headed note paper, etc.

No intention to mislead the public, just a sensible exercise in reducing the cost to the taxpayers, perfectly acceptable to any reasonably minded politician - sorry, I mean "person".
