Just got a reply from my MP who has forwarded my letter to her on to  the Sec. of State Dept Cu;lture  Jeremy Hunt.  Owing to boundary changes I no longer have Andy Burnham (spit) ss  my MP.

Yvonne Fovargue ;MP (lab) has promised to forward me his response when she receives it.

"I would be grateful if you could provide me with an update on the coalition government's view on the draft code and the points raised by Mr.Main in his email and what ,if any , discussions have taken place with Ofcom following the publication of the draft code."

That would be interesting... particularly in the context of the TalkTalk stalking offences... since they attempted to use data retention obligations as justification for covertly harvesting URLs from private/confidential communications.

Snap - I had an identical Vaizey Letter via my MP (Mark Hunter), it even had the same date.
